A spectacular outdoor video projection and live music event celebrating 150 years of The McManus.

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of The McManus, the Museum has commissioned new artworks by two of Scotland’s leading artists and musicians. Artist Duncan Marquiss has been invited to delve into the City's extraordinary collection of objects and artworks to create a new large-scale video installation that will light up the whole exterior of the Museum building. He will be joined on the steps of The McManus on Sat 25 Nov for a live performance of a specially-commissioned musical piece by musician Jonnie Common.

Curated by independent creative producer Siôn Parkinson, and supported by Creative Scotland and the Northwood Trust. A programme of public heritage events, talks and tours is supported by Heritage Lottery Fund as part of the initiative Stories, Stones & Bones.
